Magnum Hopped Beer

A high alpha acid level (10-14%) variety grown in Germany (Hallertau) and the USA, it was developed in Germany (Galena is a parent) in 1980. A classic bittering hop for both ales and lagers. Alternatives include Horizon, Colombus and, naturally, Galena.
