Lindemans Faro Bottling Note

A Lambic beer from the Lindemans folks, harking back to an old tradition of adding sugar to Lambic beer to make it more approachable. Though the style disappeared for a while, Lindemans revitalised it with the Faro, which is made from beer that aged aged for a year, after which sugar syrup is added.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Quite drying and herbaceous at first, before funky sourness comes to the fore. The sugar does its job and stops it from being too in-your-face - there's just enough sourness to make you want to come back for another sip...

Lindemans Faro (37.5cl) Reviews

Fascinating

The smell of this is absolutely vile, and I like lambic beer, however it tastes great. It isn't anywhere near as sour and vomity as other lambic beers, which although isn't to my taste (I love the sour taste) is a nice change of pace. As long as the smell doesn't put you off, this is okay really!
