Lervig Barley Wine Reviews

Incredible Barley Wine

This beer has the lot - an AMAZING nose. All the aromas you would expect from bourbon barrel aging are there in abundance I could smell this for ages. Mouthfeel is equally impressive - quite carbonated as you would expect, it fires the taste around your mouth but somehow still retains a really thick chewy quality. The taste is sublime and the finish lingers for a long time. The only negative with this is the alcohol strength of 13%. Don't get me wrong it is really well hidden - only a little boozy, but I just want to drink this all night but would probably end up in A&E if I did. Not cheap at £6.42 but worth every penny - just ordered another 4.
