IPA (India Pale Ale)

Dating back hundreds of years, with deep ties to sending strong, hoppy beer to the British Empire in India, IPA has gone through highs and lows of popularity, though it has recently gone through a massive resurgence among craft brewers - you’ll have quite a hard time finding a craft brewer that doesn’t have an IPA these days. From Europe to the USA, Japan to Australia and most places in-between, the IPA has sparked the imagination of brewers - a delicious circumstance for beer lovers everywhere.

The typical flavour profile of an IPA is closely linked to the bitterness and personality of the hops used. With the massive variety of hops available, each with their own characteristics, these little rascals allow for brewers to create lip-smacking brews with a focus on many different flavours.
