Along with Fuggles, Goldings are a British classic. Actually a small group (including Cobbs, Amos’ Early Bird, Eastwell, Mathon and East Kent as well as Bramling, Canterbury, Rodmersham and Petham) of aroma hops that originate from Kent in the 18th century that provide delicate, honeyed floral notes. Alternatives include Willamette and, of course, Fuggles.
