Dark Ale

Here you’ll find a selection of dark ales, usually malty and quite strong. Some could be described as dark brown ales whilst some may be as black as the night and yet not Porters or Stouts. Most Old Ales (a term used differently by different brewers) will also appear on this page whether they’re blends of aged and unaged ales or stronger dark ales such as Theakston’s well-known Old Peculier.
