Brewer's Gold Hopped Beer

A English bittering hop variety, related to Bullion, which is also found in the US (where it develops a higher percentage of alpha acids of 8-10%). You’ll find it used in various ales, including Dark Ales and Stouts where it can contribute fruity, sometimes pungent blackcurrant notes and spiciness. Possible substitutes include Chinook, Galena and Nugget.
