BrewDog Abstrakt AB:20 Bottling Note

For the 20th brew in the Abstrakt range, BrewDog have created what they describe as their "interpretation of the classic Italian Tiramisu dessert". It's an English barley wine that they brewed with oats, coffee and milk, blended with an Imperial stout aged in rum casks! This is a 37.5cl bottle.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Candied peels, Nutella on toast, fresh coffee, Wine Gums and burnt sugar.

BrewDog Abstrakt AB:20 Reviews

Don't hesitate get it!

This beer is unbelievable. Had it a few times now, the first initial hit is that of chocolate, then a warm alcohol feel which leads to a beautiful coffee note. You can see why tiramisu is in the description, a mighty beer!

Awful, avoid

Giving it half a star because I can't give zero. Awful, just awful. Far too much sugar, sickly sweet. Worst beer I've ever tasted. Doesn't get better, bad from the word go. If it wasn't for how much I'd paid, I'd have thrown it away.

Martin

Nice, after the second taste, bit of a shock on the first! Lovely chocolate coffee flavour with the hint of caramel. Definitely gets better and better but wouldn't have too many of them!
