39 Year Old Whisky

A limited edition sherry finished single malt from Caol Ila, just 280 bottles were released, distilled in 1984 and bottled in October of 2008 by Gordon and MacPhail, a beautifully balanced whisky from the Islay distillery.

This is an exquisite single cask Highland Park from Douglas Laing's Old and Rare Platinum Selection. It was distilled in December 1984 before a maturation in a refill hogshead, and it was bottled in September 2012. A release of 236 bottles.

25 year old, single cask Caol Ila! This was distilled on the 16th May 1984 and matured for 25 years in hogshead number 3636. Bottled by Signatory at cask strength on the 23rd July 2009, a release of just 244 bottles.

A single hogshead matured Balmenach (cask number 203), distilled on the 25th January 1984, aged for 25 years and bottled on the 15th September 2009. A release of 159 individually numbered bottles, bottled by Signatory.

A single cask from Dufftown, this was matured in cask number 80, a sherry butt, which gave the whisky a wonderfully deep colour. Distilled at Caol Ila on the 13th November and matured in cask number 5387 for 25 years before bottling by Bladnoch on the 23rd March 2010. A release of 263 numbered bottles at cask strength.

A 25 year old Benriach distilled in 1984. This was a peated release, and it was finished in Tawny Poirt casks for added sweetness and complexity.

This Glenglassaugh is finished in an Aleatico wine cask. Aleatico is an ancient Italian red grape variety, brought to the Crimea in 1830. Aleatico accumulates sugar well making it ideal for turning into sweet wine.

This thirty-nine year old Glenglassaugh has been finished in Muscat sweet wine barrels to lend it a rich chocolate and berry notes.

The 1984 vintage single malt Scotch whisky from the fabulous Glenfarclas Family Cask range. It was matured in plain hogshead #6032 until March 2014. 211 bottled were produced.
