A well-aged whisky is fine, rare thing. A long ageing in oak can bring great maturity and finesse. We have some beautifully aged 30 year old whiskies. Whiskies of this age have had plenty of oak contact, and thus often proffer a great refinement. These are truly connoisseur's whiskies. Why not sample one of our Island whiskies. These are amongst the most remote places in Scotland with rugged terrain. As a whisky is not said to age in the bottle, the age statements refer solely to the amount of time the whisky has spent in an oak cask.
