Highland 18 Year Old Whisky

Highland whisky is often described as rich, malty and slightly peaty. Traditionally we think of muscular malts with huge body, but the Highlands is also a geographically vast region compared to the other whisky-producing areas of Scotland. There is great regional variation, with the Northern Highlands offering the sweet, malty, rich whiskies; the Southern Highlands providing lighter, fruitier whiskies, with a characteristic dryness; the Eastern Highlands is known for full-bodied, fruity malts; and the Western Highlands is where you'll find your smoky, peaty malts. No matter where it's from, 18 year old Highland whisky is a real treat!
