From its Gaelic origins, whisky has become a worldwide consideration. We have a selection of 40 year old whiskies. These are very well aged, and thus extremely rare. These are in limited supply and offer an outstanding amount of oaken maturity and complexity. These are collector's items. We have 40 year old Canadian whiskies. The majority of Canadian whiskies are blended. Distilled from a selection of grains, whiskies from Canada are often made from a good proportion of rye with barley and corn. There are also some superb single malts, the Glenora distillery being a chief proponent. As a whisky is not said to age in the bottle, the age statements refer solely to the amount of time the whisky has spent in an oak cask.
