Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Fresh flowers and hints of wormwood. Star anise is ripe and intense. Quite herbal with perhaps a hint of peppermint too. Very earthy.

Palate: Creamy, thick palate entry with wormwood and fennel to the fore. Hints of aniseed and allspice. Dried flowers and a little sweetness.

Finish: Crisp, minty finish with spices on the tail.

An amazing drink
Extremely fragrant and smooth. Has a strong herbal aroma and taste that doesn't feel weak at all even when diluted with no less than four parts water, and feels so silky running down my throat. Gives me a pleasant tingling sensation on my tongue, a characteristic of green anise and fennel. Overall, this absinthe gave me a truly amazing tasting experience. Five stars.

couldn't possibly give less than 5 stars. Amazing.
Amazing absinthe.
Bought a second bottle for back up.

More herbal than the Nouvelle Orleans.

Incredibly refreshing. Especially when made with 2-3 parts water and 1-2 parts Schweppes pink soda. No sugar.

Make the above for your anti absinthe friends in summer and watch them change their mind on absinthe...So refreshing.

Jades best absinthe
1901 is a revisial of pre ban pernod fills. Aside from the leathery taste from ageing, the old pre ban sample was better, however not by much. If the pre ban was a made today 1901 is what you would get. For true absinthe conisure, made the old way. Outstanding at 1 to three (water) no sugar needed. And get ready for some beautiful fennel and wine base
