A delightful little 12 year old dram from the Speyside distillery, Tormore.
The nose is quite light and fresh. There are notes of cut hay and stemmy grass, cut flowers and a leafy note. Hints of resin and pine oil with malt extract and toasted barley, hints of cinnamon and pepper. The palate is of medium-body and very smooth. There are notes of Dundee marmalade with fresh zesty note. There are hints of slightly sour grape and fresh hay and grass. There are notes of barley sugar and a soft oak. The finish is of good length with a touch of oak and hay.

Very good, smooth and easy to drink.

Very smooth single malt. You can say it's too simple, but that's the point - it's simplicity worth every penny you've paid and even more.

Bought this on a whim and I love it. I dare say it's one of the best single malts for the money I've ever tasted. It's a hair on the sweet side, but super smooth and flavorful.

The Whisky Shop chain sell this for £55. They're having a laugh.

My brother brought this round one evening for a wee celebration. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this malt. Very smooth with a lovely sweetness. I look forward to purchasing this myself.

A close friend and I have fallen for the smooth taste and drinkability of Tormore. It has fast become our favorite single malt, though we continue to test others, with only a couple even coming close. The down side: a bottle doesn't last long enough! :-)deno
