Master of Malt Wins Inaugural Icons of Gin Online Retailer Award

21 February 2018 Global spirits eCommerce platform Master of Malt has been named Icons of Gin Online Retailer of the Year 2018. 

Master of Malt has picked up the first Icons of Gin Online Retailer of the Year award, announced at the Gin Magazine Awards in London on 15 February.

The accolade, voted for by members of the UK drinks trade, recognises excellence in product selection, service and site user experience. It also marks the first time Master of Malt has been recognised for a gin-specific award. 

“We’re absolutely delighted to win the first Icons of Gin Online Retailer of the Year award,” said Kristiane Sherry, Master of Malt editor. “It means a huge amount to the whole team here to be recognised for the efforts we’ve put into developing and honing our gin offering, while continuing to work to make sure our user experience and customer service are both the best they can be.

“Ultimately we couldn’t do what we do without the support of our brilliant customers – and because of that we’ll keep pushing to continually up our game. There are loads of exciting developments in the pipeline so watch this space!” 

The awards follow the launch of Gin Magazine from Paragraph Publishing, the company behind Whisky Magazine and the Icons of Whisky Awards. 

The Icons of Gin Online Retailer of the Year 2018 award follows a fantastic 2017 for the retailer, with Master of Malt taking home the Icons of Whisky Global Online Retailer of the Year for a fifth time, as well as two eCommerce Awards and the Online Retailer of the Year gong at the Digital Entrepreneur Awards for the second year running.
