Balbo LH Malbec Bottling Note

This is a late harvest Malbec which was produced in Argentina's Mendoza region by Susana Balbo. The vines were, on average, 13 years old, and the wine was aged for 18 months in new French oak. Wine Advocate rated this with 91 points! Expect a big, plump sweet wine.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Blackberries and hints of pastry. Plum jam, violets, spice.

Palate: Jammy, plummy sweet palate entry. Hints of chocolate, stewed cherries and oak.

Finish: Good, rich finish. Very thick and fruity.
