Vintage Champagne

Made only in the best years, Vintage Champagne is one of life's true luxuries. It is common practice for Champagne houses to make their vintage Champagnes with a higher proportion of Chardonnay (a more robust grape capable of longer ageing), so they make take more time to reach peak drinkability. Waiting's half the fun though isn't it?
