This is the 2011 vintage of Ca Dei Frati Ronchedone, an intense Italian red wine made 45% Marzemino, 45% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes used for this wine were grown on the south bank of Lake Garda, where the Ronchedone family's vineyards lay. It is aged for 14 months in oak before being bottled. Rich with notes of herbs, cherries and blackcurrant with fine tannins and a medium finish.
