Boutinot Cairanne 2010
Using Grenache Noir, Syrah, Carignan Noir and Mourvèdre grapes, Boutinot have produced a fantastic and deeply flavourful wine. Produced in Southern Rhone, it has been fermented using 'wild yeasts' and then aged for 22 months before being bottled. Massive, meaty flavours of ripe berries, cherries and liquorice. A sprinkle of hot cinnamon spice appears near the finish, rounding off this excellent red very nicely.
