Insider knowledge: Yamazaki Mizunara 2012 whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Japan. If distilled in America the spelling would be Yamazaki Mizunara 2012 whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
A floral character at first with hints of beeswax and dessicated coconut. The palate is creamy with notes of nuts, floral teas and vanilla pods, followed by a long finish with notes of Acacia honey and cigar box wood about it.
One of the best whiskies of the year.
