What's in a name? Yamazaki Mizunara 2012 whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Japan. Were it from America it would be spelled Yamazaki Mizunara 2012 whiskey, rather than whisky.
A floral character at first with hints of beeswax and dessicated coconut. The palate is creamy with notes of nuts, floral teas and vanilla pods, followed by a long finish with notes of Acacia honey and cigar box wood about it.
One of the best whiskies of the year.
