The Antiquary was named for the 1816 novel by the famed Scottish writer and poet, Sir Walter Scott.
The Antiquary Finest Tasting Note
The nose is smooth and gentle and fairly soft. There are some vanilla notes and malted barley, with toffee and just a hint of marmalade. The palate is soft and subtle. There is toffee sweetness and very gentle smoke. The finish is of medium-length with caramel and a little dryness.
