Whisky or Whiskey

Insider knowledge: The Antiquary 30 Year Old 1977 whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be The Antiquary 30 Year Old 1977 whiskey, as opposed to whisky.

The Antiquary 1977 Tasting Note

The nose is quite soft and gentle, there are sweet vanilla notes with sugar and a gentle orange peel character, a touch of dryness with some fudge. The palate is smooth and of medium-body with notes of orange peel and marmalade, there are hints of mocchaccino with a touch of caramel sweetness and a dusting of cocoa. The finish is long and full with a touch of smoke.
