What's in a name? Bourbon Supreme - 1950s whiskey is called whiskey because it's produced in America. Were it from Scotland it would be spelled Bourbon Supreme - 1950s whisky, rather than whiskey.
I had two of those and it must be the worst bourbon i ever drank. Nothing but alcohol burn and no but no taste at all. Perhaps it had when produced but it died then in the bottle after so many years. But then again i only paid 30 euros for those two.
