The nose is full and rich. There are notes of dried kelp and a thick ozone note. Hints of oily nuts and smoked meats with barley and a butyric note, the smoke is thick and elegant. The palate is rather full and thick. There are notes of Bramley apple and charred oak with the smoke thereof, notes of the coast with a pungent seaweed note and a soft peat. The finish is long and saline with notes of oak and apple.
