The nose is smoky and rich. There are notes of sea weed and dried kelp, a medicinal note and wood smoke. There are some fruit notes with bitter marmalade and Bramley apples. There is a dark, chewy peat with notes of lemon. The palate is very full. There is a pungent acidity, notes of sea spray and sea weed, pepper and spice.
