The nose is rich and spicy. There is a black pepper with thick oak and manuka honey. There are some candied peels and confiture de fraise with smoke and coastal notes and bramley apple peel. Some smoked almonds and meats. A hint of something menthol. The palate is rich and very punchy. The oak is spicy with plenty of black pepper and notes of winter spice.
