Springbank 25 Year Old (Old Bottle)

I bought a bottle of this when I was 25 on a business trip to Edinburgh in 1998. I happened to wander into Cadenhead's with a friend. They let us sample a 12, 15 and 25. The 25 won hands down. Needless to say, we each bought a bottle to commemorate the trip. It was only 130 pounds then. This is a deep Scotch. Smokey notes, rich buttery sweetness, smooth all around the palate with a clean finnish. I am very sad to say, now at 40, I just finnished the bottle.
