Caol Ila 25 Signatory Bottling Note

A single cask from Signatory. This is the next cask after the excellent previous edition (cask 3636). This was distilled on the 16th May 1984 and aged for 25 years in cask 3637 (a hogshead) before bottling on the 9th April 2010. A release of 179 numbered bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Oily, toffee, tangy, salty, perfumed with berry fruits and a little potpourri.

Palate: Big-bodied and very fruity, actually quite tropical with notes of papaya amidst a maelstrom of oily, tangy malt.

Finish: Herbal finish, woody. Hints of cardamom.
