Nikka Super Whisky - Genshu
A blended malt, made with whisky from several of Nikka's distilleries. This is bottled at cask strength. Very rare and worth a try - bottled for the Japanese market.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Spicy and sweet with notes of charred oak, vanilla and spice. Gingerbread, hints of tomato leaves and smoke.
Palate
Spicy and oaky with notes of custard, bananas and tropical fruit. Kind of herbal, and peppery, with whiffs of smoke.
Finish
Good length and very creamy with notes of old oak and spice.
