An incredibly rare, beautifully packaged single malt. This comes as part of the range of very old Mortlach (that recently climaxed with the 70 year old - the world's oldest whisky). This 60 year old was distilled in 1938 and there are just 100 bottles of this. The bottle is a cut crystal decanter, presented in a copper presentation case, with a miniature of the whisky, and silk gloves with which to handle it. An awesome chance to own some very exclusive whisky, distilled before the Second World War!
We've yet to try this one, but it's said to be an astonishing mix of fruity, sherried malt with notes of lavender, smoke and honey.
