Insider knowledge: Matisse Old Blended Scotch Whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Matisse Old Blended Scotch Whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Caramelised pears and fresh plums drenched in custard.
Palate: Chocolatey, malty and syrupy.
Finish: Nutty and short.
Overall: Sweet, fruity blend.
The 12 year old Matisse, one to be enjoyed with friends or just by yourself. A really first class drink.
