What's in a name? Matisse Old Blended Scotch Whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Matisse Old Blended Scotch Whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Caramelised pears and fresh plums drenched in custard.
Palate: Chocolatey, malty and syrupy.
Finish: Nutty and short.
Overall: Sweet, fruity blend.
The 12 year old Matisse, one to be enjoyed with friends or just by yourself. A really first class drink.
