Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Big on dry toffee and sherry, great oak integration with a touch of madeira (that same stewed fruit flavour). Touch of white pepper, sultanas and apricots.

Palate: Rounded and soft with a sweet, malty flavour. Manuka honey, olive oil, a touch of lemon sugar, sherbet and toasty oak hidden underneath.

Finish: Medium length with sweet exotic spices and dried fruit.

Impressive

This whisky is light but full of body. It's smooth on the tongue and in the throat, with a touch of spice. This could easily become one's everday whisky, not because it's pedestrian -- far from it! -- but because it's such an enjoyable experience. Drink it neat from a snifter and enjoy the vapours as much as the liquid.
