What's in a name? Langs Supreme 5 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky - 1980s whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Langs Supreme 5 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky - 1980s whiskey, rather than whisky.
Bought three bottles in a warm country a while ago. Enjoyed this blend (with a high malt content) very very much. Gave a bottle to a good friend, for him to have a similar early eighties experience. Still have one left to open on an appropriate day. This blend is buttery, warm, sweet, rich and full flavour, malty too and with a "very senior nose to it". No sherry tones whatsoever. It is a pity that the newer Langs Supreme does not have the charm this laddie has.
