Whisky or Whiskey

Insider knowledge: The John Walker whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be The John Walker whiskey, as opposed to whisky.

The John Walker Bottling Note

Only 330 bottles have been produced of this incredible rare and exclusive bottling made in memory of the founder of Johnnie Walker, John Walker himself. The whisky, which follows the heritage of the Blue Label and the King George V, is crafted from specially selected casks to create a whisky as close to the nineteenth century style as possible. The decanter is presented in a lacquered cabinet that took sixty hours to make. This is the epitome of exclusivity.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The aroma is are surprisingly fresh, considering the age of some of the whisky used to make it, with bright citrus notes. The palate displays rich fruit and sweet vanilla notes with a honeyed character emerging. The finish is simply astoundingly long with fruit and spice waltzing to the very end.
