What's in a name? Isle Of Skye 8 Year Old 1.5l (Ian Macleod) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Isle Of Skye 8 Year Old 1.5l (Ian Macleod) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Smoke, notes of barley and crème anglaise.
Palate: Sweet. Fruitcake. Sherry.
Finish: Nutty and spicy.
i love my whisky, got this as a present last year and opened tonight, had a couple of drams and threw the rest down the toilet, it tasted and smelled like a pub whisky and frankly was disgusting.
