Nose: Tangy, tart aromas with hints of beeswax and allspice. A little cocoa butter, vanilla and a touch of cinnamon. Very spicy.
Palate: Rich notes of toasted almonds, marzipan and allspice. Hints of vanilla, custard apples, hay, cinnamon and stewed fruit.
Finish: Toasted oak on the finish with hints of toffee apples and spice.
Overall: A beautifully rich, spicy whisky from Jura.
