A 1992 vintage from the Isle of Jura distillery, aged in refill sherry hogsheads and bottled by Gordon and MacPhail.

Isle of Jura 1992 Tasting Note

The nose is fragrant and rich. Nots of maple syrup and honeycomb, a touch of buttery toffee and salty pastry. There are some hints of herbal notes, heather and zest. The palate is rich and thick. The cereal notes proliferate the mouth without flinching for a moment, the barley is rich and juicy with beautiful sweetness as a soft oak creeps in. The finish is of good length with crisp cereals and buttery vanilla cream.
