What's in a name? Islay Mist 12 Year Old whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Islay Mist 12 Year Old whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Thick, biscuity, herbal. Heather root and spice, a touch of pine resin builds.
Palate: Medium body, sweet. Fudge, toffee and barley. There is a faint whisper of peat smoke.
Finish: Punchy with notes of winter spice and toffee.
you won't regret it, it very mellow and soft with a nice pinch at the end.smokey must i say? anyway it's a very good whisky.

Very smooth, with initial sweet rich taste and feel in the mouth! The Islay aftertaste then kicks in, with peat overtones and a hint of the sea. Cant go wrong at this price even for a blend!
