Insider knowledge: Islay Mist 12 Year Old whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Islay Mist 12 Year Old whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Thick, biscuity, herbal. Heather root and spice, a touch of pine resin builds.
Palate: Medium body, sweet. Fudge, toffee and barley. There is a faint whisper of peat smoke.
Finish: Punchy with notes of winter spice and toffee.
you won't regret it, it very mellow and soft with a nice pinch at the end.smokey must i say? anyway it's a very good whisky.

Very smooth, with initial sweet rich taste and feel in the mouth! The Islay aftertaste then kicks in, with peat overtones and a hint of the sea. Cant go wrong at this price even for a blend!
