Inchmoan Cask 53 Bottling Note
A 4 year old bottled under the name Inchmoan. This was distilled in 2001 at the Loch Lomond distillery. Bottled from a single cask, Cask Number 53.
The nose is quite light and fresh. There are notes of gentle wood smoke with a soft, gentle fruity sweetness. There is a very subtle peat, seemingly content with subservience. There are hints of calvados and cereal notes with barley sugars. The palate is of medium-body with a good balance. There are notes of peppery oak with a charred character, hints of creamy barley sugars with wafting smoke and subtle salinity. The finish is long and spiced.
