Nose: Tight and concentrated, takes some getting into and then opens up on juicy fruit esters, wood shavings, barrel char, hints of tar, very rich and slightly coastal after some time in the glass, with tar, beeswax, mixed fruits and a hint of mint developing.
Palate: Very dense with woody, fruity flavours, developing with all sorts of herbal notes, chewy oak, hints of juniper and other gin botanicals.
Finish: Tannic, rich with hints of treacle and plenty of oak. Slightly salty with spice.
