Highland Park 23 Bottling Note
Distilled at the Highland Park on the 30th June 1987, this was aged in two hogsheads for 23 years, before bottling on the 25th November 2010. A release of 611 bottles.
Nose: Cut hay, toffee apples and a touch of heather honey. Herbal, slightly spicy.
Palate: Rich and warming, with manuka honey and granary toast. A touch of salt caramel, spice and gorse bush.
Finish Dusty, musty and malty on the finish, with a definite woodshop effect. Very good indeed.
