Jim Murray's Whisky Bible
What's in a name? Glentauchers 1994 (Gordon & MacPhail) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Glentauchers 1994 (Gordon & MacPhail) whiskey, rather than whisky.
I really enjoyed this leaving present as Im a big fan of speyside whisky. For some reason I wasnt expecting too much and admit Id never heard of this distillery but was rewarded with a wonderful sweet drop, very smooth with a a little fire on the end. So nice I didnt share it!
