Glenrothes 1995 Bottling Note

Created specifically as a single malt (none of this was used for blending elsewhere), the 1995 vintage Glenrothes was aged in 30% first fill American sherry oak, with the rest made up of 1st Fill Spanish Sherry Oak-aged whisky. Very good indeed.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Biscuity nose with lemon curd, black treacle, custard, granary toast with honey and cinnamon.

Palate: Cocoa, hazelnut, walnut and dates on the nose. Hints of sherried peels, chocoate raisins, redcurrants and toffee apple.

Finish: Coffee, caramel and walnut.
