The 7th release of 1961 Family Cask. A very old Glenfarclas, aged in cask 1325 (a sherry hogshead). This was bottled afted 50 years on the 25th May 2011. A release of 108 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Cocoa, toffee and chocolate. Coffee beans, leather, plumwine, hints of cedar wood.

Palate: Plum liqueur, chocolate, sherried peels, oak, hints of cocoa. Black pepper.

Finish: Medium length, spicy. Hints of toffee apples and pepper.
