Glenfarclas 40 105 Bottling Note

A great, well-sherried cask strength release. This was bottled in owner of chairman John L S Grant's father, George S Grant who bottled a cask of Glenfarclas at Christmas time to give as a gift to friends and family. He would leave the whisky at cask strength, in this case a cask strength of 105 degrees 'British Proof'. This expression was released to commemorate 40 years of the 105 cask strength Glenfarclas. There are only 893 bottles of this in the world.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Full, rich, oak. Spice, barley. Toffee, aniseed, manuka honey, arak, oats
Palate: Full, barley sugars, malt, sultana, sherried. Aniseed.
Finish: Oaked, smoky, spicy.
