Insider knowledge: Glendullan 1999 (bottled 2013) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail) whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Glendullan 1999 (bottled 2013) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail) whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Bustling with vanilla and pear. Rather nutty, too.
Palate: Brazil nuts, more vanilla and a pinch of menthol develops.
Finish: Continued vanilla notes.
Overall: The first fill bourbon barrels had quite an affect on this one.
