What's in a name? Glendullan 1999 (bottled 2013) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Glendullan 1999 (bottled 2013) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Bustling with vanilla and pear. Rather nutty, too.
Palate: Brazil nuts, more vanilla and a pinch of menthol develops.
Finish: Continued vanilla notes.
Overall: The first fill bourbon barrels had quite an affect on this one.
