What's in a name? Glen Ord 12 Year Old whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Glen Ord 12 Year Old whiskey, rather than whisky.
Sorry got the star rating wrong

First discovered Glen Ord in a French supermarket in 1991. It is so smooth and easy on the pallet. I have been a fan ever since and have visited the distillery.
Received a bottle direct from the distillery as a gift and was amazed how smooth and sweet it was,one could say the opitome of Speyside scotch,it instantly became a favourite, what a pity because it is hard to get in Australia.

I cant beleive no one has reviewed this malt. It is so smooth you have to watch how much you drink in one session. The whisky from Tain is nice but this one is just toooooooooooo smooth for safety.
