Insider knowledge: Glen Ord 12 Year Old whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Glen Ord 12 Year Old whiskey, as opposed to whisky.

I cant beleive no one has reviewed this malt. It is so smooth you have to watch how much you drink in one session. The whisky from Tain is nice but this one is just toooooooooooo smooth for safety.

Received a bottle direct from the distillery as a gift and was amazed how smooth and sweet it was,one could say the opitome of Speyside scotch,it instantly became a favourite,what a pity because it is hard to get in Australia.

First discovered Glen Ord in a French supermarket in 1991. It is so smooth and easy on the pallet. I have been a fan ever since and have visited the distillery.
