English Whisky 4 Bottling Note

New make English malt spirit from the English Whisky Company range, this is the fourth chapter in the journey to single malt. Distilled on the 15th April 2008 by David Fitt and matured in a first fill American bourbon barrel before bottling on the 21st December 2009.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Peat... and not a lot else initially.

Palate: Smooth, well integrated peat (it's still there in force though), very, very fruity.

Finish: Christmas spices, hint of orange zest just at the end?

Overall: Impressive, but not as good as the previous two.
