Nose: Notes of oak and iodine, some smoke and peanut butter, and soft, oily peat. Very unusual. Hard to peg this one down.
Palate: Oily and peaty, with a lot of coastal notes going on. Hints of salty butter on toasted crumpets, and a little almond oil late palate. Very spicy!
Finish: Spicy with chili warmth and a hot slab of peat now. Like an explosion! Really very good indeed.
