Caperdonich 1992 Bottling Note

Caperdonich was once known as Glen Grant No. 2 thanks to its proximity to its sister distillery. Legend has it that they were once connected by a pipe which was removed after it was discovered that locals drilled into it to steal the whisky!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Ripe banana and pepper to begin with, leading to spices and candied citrus peel.

Palate: Apples and pears join the banana from the nose with hints of charcoal in the background.

Finish: The finish is long with notes of cracked black pepper and thyme.

Overall: A fruity Caperdonich with a peppery kick.
